Margaret Tracey was born in Scotland and won her first National Art Competition as a 13 year old schoolgirl. She has lived in various parts of the world including Africa, Canada and Malta and now resides on the Isle of Wight.  

She had her first exhibition in 1980 on Malta and has since gone from strength to strength with a further 65 showings, gaining international recognition for her fine art work.  

She has 22 limited editions and one open edition published: Her original paintings can be found in private and public collections worldwide including the Museum of Archaeology in Malta .  

Margaret Tracey has also been commissioned: by various publications to do step-by-step demonstrations of her painting techniques, using a variety of mediums from acrylic and pastels to watercolour. For 11 articles with three specialist magazines  including 5 with Artists and Illustrators, 4 with Country Talk Magazine and 2 with Cat World

Each artist has also been sent a Certificate.
