I have loved art all my life, but only in recent years have had enough spare time to really get down to work. The books I have read by other artists would fill a library and I have learned and continue to learn a great deal in this way.

Pastel is my favourite medium with watercolour and acrylic fighting for second place. Wildlife painting and portraiture are my chosen first subjects, while the desire to capture glorious landscapes, with mood and atmosphere and breathtaking beauty, will always be my ambition.

I love painting. It’s an adventure.

I have recently been invited to join Carlisle and Border Arts Society, and last but not least was “Acrylic” Divisional Winner of PAWS 2001.
