Studied at Southend Art Sehool for 3 years, then went on to spend the next 20 years as a graphic artist in the commercial art world.

After quitting the rat race, Bernadette decided to concentrate on her painting and to incorporate her love of wildlife.

She continued with the encouragement of 'Secret World' a wildlife sanctuary in Somerset, where she held her first exhibition. Also she has received great encouragement from Roy Chaffin through the PAWS competition.

Bernadette has recently accomplished a dream of hers and has opened her own gallery in Leigh-On-Sea, Essex. Here she not only has the opportunity to exhibit her own work but also that of other artists.
