"Centre Stage"

Ashley uses his airbrushes to produce artworks on canvas of both wild and domestic animals. With a monochrome underpainting, he then uses transparent colours to render detail and shadows. Ashley has only ever used the airbrush since purchasing one back in 1998 and found it to be the perfect tool for both background and subject. Sometimes Ashley will use the computer to compose a picture which he then prints out to use as reference. With the aid of his digital cameras Ashley takes his own photographs where possible thus ensuring that every detail is captured.
